RESISTANCE TRAINING
Therabands, Power Blocks & Dumbbells
While working with a Certified Lymphedema Therapist you will get to a point in your care where resistance exercises are introduced. Here are some tried and true brands used in clinic that you can purchase to help continue your exercises at home. The therabands with handles are my preferred style as you will not have to wrap the loose band around your hand. If you are wrapping the band around your hand, it can compression your lymph system, something you ideally should be avoiding as a lymphedema risk reduction practice.
